looking for something greater than a 5hp.....10 plus would be ideal but at least a 7hp.
My son just bought a dingo with the larger atv style tires and it came with a 5hp.  He needs faster!
Looking to spend around $100 on one to try and keep it in his price range but dad will kick in a few bucks if necessary especially if its electric start.  LMK whatcha got.  It's gotta run though as I suck at tuning carbs Cheesy

that engine sucks.  we went and looked at it.  cheap chinese shitt!!.  We just picked up a tecumseh 8hp that has no govenor restrictions and pushes closer to 12 hp as it sits.  Found an ex go cart builder in Enfield CT that builds small engines for a living...or did before retiring.  He built this one for my son over the past week and tuned it up as his kids were always into carting and he said he'd get my sons running tip top for $50.  He even gave us a heavy duty 1" bored cintrifugal clutch brand new and a electric starter free of charge.  Now he just needs a small 12v motorcycle battery.

anyone got one kicking around?

We are awaiting his new aluminum sproket and hub for the rear axle and a new throttle linkage and it should be ready to rip.  We have plans to upgrade the chassis to run a set of shocks in the rear end next. gotta get drafting up some plans for this

For it's worth, while at HF I saw a guy returning a 6.5 to the store had gas in it so I'm guessing something mechanical failed.

If you look on ebay....the same engine gets all kids of negative remarks from unhappy buyers all over the intraweb.  There is a reason people are getting $200 plus for a used tecumseh and only $109 for a brand new China brand HF model.

Glad I looked into it though.  Although that 13hp on the shelf looked mean! Wink
