Dana 60 flush hubs?
«
on:
July 22, 2010, 10:28:46 AM »
does anyone know if there is someone out there that makes an almost flush hub(non selectable) for a front Dana 60? I know they make drive flages, anyone who has the drive flanges, could you possibly measure for me the distance from the wheel mount surface to the end of the flange?
essentially I am looking to have that be as little as possible
I could run the drive flange and a wheel spacer BUT I currently have 5 x5.5 pattern so It will make the spacer a little thin between bolt holes and ID.

I don't have mine to measure, but my best guess would be less than a 1/4 inch off the end of the hub. I will measure when I get home if no one else responds

x2, drive flanges only stick out .25"-.375" past the hub.

if your running slugs, I guess you could cut the hub down, the flange down and teh shaft, but you are limiting and minimizing your spline engagement

just limit your backspacing if your looking to protect your hub from rock contact.
you can check out and measure my flanges when you pick up your steel.

unit bearing knuckle/hubs are your best bet.

wasn't looking for the thickness of the flanges looking for the distance from wheel mount to end of mounted flange.
don't care about protecting th hubs. actually just trying to run a certain wheel but it's looking like I may have to do a bit to much for mods to run it.
And I think what Jon has suggested is the only option to allow what I want to do.
