It's sad that I havent done anything since the last post. Been busy over the winter. It gave me time to change my mind about 1k times.

Rims and tires:
Decided that h1's may not be best choice for this vehicle. I would like to tow with it eventually. 16.5" rims lock me into only a few tire options although 37" Goodyears can be had for $100. I do keep looking at them due to their price. $340 each with beadlocks & tires... and they would be pretty bad a$$

The thought had crossed my mind to do rockstars with out the center caps. Pros, look cool. Cons Expensive and I'm not fond of any chrome bolts or studs.

I looked at hutchingson wheels too. Pros, Street legal bead locks. Tough enough for the military. Cons, they are pricey. The ones I like are only 16's and difficult to find but I still like them.

So I think I have settled on H2's painted black. Pros, inexpensive, still have an updated military look, saves a lot of money vs other aftermarket wheels and gives me plenty of tire options. Cons, not exactly the look I want.

For tires I am leaning towards 37" MT Baja MTZ's

I'm going to finish cleaning up the 14 bolt and order all the brake parts this week. Hopefully should have most of the axle done with in a month (only one wedding to go to this year...).

I still can't make up my mind on the tires and wheels....
What says the masses?

If you haven't totally given up on the H1s I "may" be selling a set and I have a number for a local guy I was told is selling the GY for $300 a set. However, I haven't called the guy to verify the price yet.

406yj, or something like that, runs Trail Worthy Fab and is active vendor on Pirate.  He sells the dbl beadlocks and 37" tires also.  Check em out if you havent already.

btw never would have pictured you chosing those "rockstar" wheels...didnt know you were so flashy
