Okay what do you have and how is your service?
My blood is boiling with verizon tonight. Ive been dealing with multiple service issues for years now (dropped calls like crazy).
What do you have.

call and complain they will send you a signal booster.
I have verizon and have had it for a long time, no huge complaints. I don't get internet everywhere I go but for the most part it works when I need it.
only complaint I have is the PTT walky talky thing on verizon sucks ass I quickly got rid of it.

I am a huge fan of Verizon service. I have T-Mobile (work pays for my phone) and it sucks very hard! but its free. I do hear of a lot of people on the AT&T network, but those who have Verizon (my wife, and myself before work gave me a phone, and many friends) rarely complain. Could be your phone too, search issues that your having and see if others with your phone are having them.
Honestly, I dont think any of them are worth what they charge, they all suck. I just think Verizon sucks the least.

Bottom line no matter who you have have you will be disappointed at some point. Be it the phone or the service. Theyre all the same for the most part. The grass isn't necessarily greener on the other side.

I will say the grass is brown on the t-mobile side. Currently I see ATT and VZW as the leaders in coverage. I have a couple VZW phones and a broadband card from them. I used to have ATT and that was great, but almost all the people I call are VZW so I find the in calling + coverage worth their lowsey service.

we've had T mobile for the past 4 years, no complaints at all, previous carriers were cell one, cingular, nextel, sprint. T-mobile provides the best coverage and unlike the others, actually works in my house.

I have been a Sprint customer for 8 + years with few issues. My entire side of the family uses AT&T(cingular) and Jenns Side uses Verizon as her brother is a big wig mit tech grad who works with Verizon as a lead engineer or some shitt. They have all complained at one point or another about service at their homes and I can sit in my house and use the 4g network with full bars. I have 3 spots I know of that signal fades out but they are usually near high tention wires and I get service right back.
I have the biggest Multimedia package with 2000 anytime minutes (family plan) never go over and I am on my phone all freakin day everywhere I travel. We will stay with Sprint thanks.
We have tried Voicestream ( which is now Tmobile)...cingular (before AT&T bought them out) and verizon. Hated them all.

Might have some to do with the fact your pad sits on top of HILL!!!
Not everybody has that luxury.

I live in Boston and my old apartment (3 blocks from my hosue) didn't get verizon reception. So when we moved, our contract was up and we switched to AT+T. Now we don' tget reception in our house with ATT. I'm getting it up the a$$ either way so I never carry my phone and use the damn land line.

Trust me there is nothing luxurious about my pad except you are very right, I am on one of the biggest hills in spencer.......thats why the wind took my last new grill right of the front deck for me
You win some you loose some I guess.

i've had verizon for a few years with the wife and I love it, never get drop calls, but the dead zones are extremely random, and their phone credit deals are pretty sweet, I just got something in the mail, for my phone line I have the lowest promotional price for any phone, and the wife get's like 120 bucks off any phone.
which is nice considering my phone exploded while hitting a jeep in midflight.
I've had AT&T hated it, my mother inlaw has it, she hates it.
I've had sprint, nothing but problems however at the time ( back around 2005) the customer service was second to none.
I'll stick to verizon, great coverage across the board.
