Welcome,

where are you located in Dedham.  RMTJ05 (JJ) is in Dedham and I"m in Roslindale so there will always be a hand to help you out.

Also, I have to admit, and it hurts to do so, but go with Kromes advice.  The lift you are looking to get will be a solid lift, but you'll ditch it in 3 years and want a long arm anway.  Get teh same ride, the same height and the same 33's, but for 1/3 the price.  You'll be happier down the road that you didn't spend that extra $400-$500 on new arms and what not.

I live right near the higschool on Mt. Vernon.

Anyway, I am definitely going to follow your advice and go with the budget lift and body lift. I have also seen some BFG AT's 33" on Craigslist too which is great.

Now the question is simply what brand of lift and body lift and what should I get for rock sliders? (oh, and also when I will have the money by haha).

I am assuming that the best road would be a 2" budget lift and 1" body lift based on your posts?

-Thanks for all the help and a lot of great responses, Cody

All the budget boosts are poly spacers, so its all dependent on what shock you want to run. Ive had a few friends run the RE setup and really liked it. Id suggest the jks bodylift myself as I have had great experience with that company and their products.

Sliders, down the road when you get them, I would get something that tie into the body mounts, for structural and stength reasons

Bandit makes a nice set of sliders.  I have a Daystar body lift in my cj.  Good product

welcome.

crown automotive in stoughton carries a budget boost kit with spacers, bump stops, and shocks.  look up "Crown Automotive - Jeff" and shoot him a pm to see what they're selling for (you can find him in the vendor section).

it's the same company that's in krome's sig.

Again, I agree with Krome.  The RE kit is good, but I'd start with Jeff at Crown.  He's only a 15 minute drive and always has the best prices around.  He won't have RE parts usually, but he'll have something just as good for 1/2 the price becuase you won't pay for the RE name....just the quality.

As for the body lift, JKS.  It's 1.25" and it's as straight forward as it gets.  If you need help installing it, I"m only 10 minues away from Mt Vernon so swing on by, pull into my garage and we'll get it done.

PS

Money is for the week....debt is where it's at.  You wouldn't have bought a jeep if you didn't want to be poor the rest of your life!

Oh, as for sliders...I love Poison Spyder.  I also have 10% off coupons there all the time so if you are interested, let me know.

Those are the ones I have and they ahve taken a beating.  I've come off a rock directly onto them and they didn't even dent.  Highly recommended even though they are slightly pricy.

We have high clearance rocker guards with a step on top that tie into the body mounts. I'll try to remember to get some pics up.

x2 talk to jeff at crown, don't quote me on it, but I think he also told me they could put in orders for certain lift kits if its a company they deal with, which I think is pretty awesome, and he's a great guy to deal with.( plus after going to their store, the amount of stuff they have there makes you giggle with glee, and thats only what they have in the front).
