john gives great ideas, he brains storms over the smallest details. i've found and i tell him this all of the time that i follow 40-60% of his fab advice. any less and i'm worse off, any more and im worse off also. the 'c' pillar wasn't designed by john. actually tim and i did it 100% on bendtech after taking a few designs. john did give great advice on the placement and notching of tub. things i didn't know. heck, i'm using johns notcher for all of the notches!
i don't know where i'm going to gusset my cage yet. is it best to gusset on the bottom or the inside a 90 degree intersection?

i always place my gussets on the bottom of the 90, just what i do?
i was mostly referring to the big X on the back of the cage, you will have no access to the rear of the jeep. and it honestly is not needed. i know you want triangles etc but there is some compromise in building cages and there are many ways to to triangulate without ruining all your storage space. the X behind the seat is good and some of the other stuff as well. it just seemed a little "over the top" with the X on the rear.
but like i said it looks good so far

thanks, i still was thinking of how to handle that rear section. i was probably planning on leaving as is until i wheeled it and saw what i needed.

Only spent a couple hrs on it tonight. Dash ba and upper dash bar (don't know what else to call it) tacked in. Primed and painted front axle... Also planned rea shock hoop. Still not sure on that one.

i am now told my currie antirocks won't ship from summit until 9/13. when i ordered them i was told 8/26
i don't expect to be able to wheel with out them so that eliminates fall crawl for me.
