Just got a call from my tire guy. He can't vulcanize my irok. Bummer fo sure
Ian I feel bad, I didn't know that one tire was that bad or bad at all. I know a guy in Springfeild that did some wild work on a few red lable's and bad gash's. I will get his number from Sean and see if he can fix it for ya.

It still holds air, but it was worrisome to the both of us.

i just picked up my tire from my tire guy. he went out of business yesterday so i guess i'm glad to get my irok back. i'd love the number of that guy. it would be worth it for me to drive out there. i'd just find a way to fit it in my car trunk.

Look back at Lucas's red label for sale thread. Jon gave the name of a place in Westboro who vulcanized a 39" Krawler.

i'll do that tim.
jason said to find truck/tractor tire places not car tire places. car tire places won't touch sidewalls
quirk tire in westborough is what lucas said.
i have an in a local truck place, but i have to wait for my grandfather to come home from vacation.

Start making calls so you know you have some place to go if your grandfather's lead doesn't work out.

LOL.
I go buy Quirk Tire all most weekly. I forgot about them, but like I said if that fails try a truck place that re-caps or re-treads truck tire's.

lets see...
finished welded the outside half of my rear back half frame (2"x3")
bent up a "B-pillar" not sure if i'll use it though.
have all of the parts to now run my brake lines.
tim made a spiffy bracket for the steering cooler. it goes between the radiator and the grill
messed around with the bender a bunch.
changed my rear lower axle link brackets to spiffy ballistic ones from the crappy ones i tried to make.
its been pretty hot so i've been surfing a lot more lately, thus cutting down on the time i work on it.
