I want my money back for that fabrication!
Wait a minute I think that was me!
Nothing to see here moving on...

Today was test drive drive day.
All in all it went relatively well.
With the tranfercase in low the transmission shifted into all 3 forward gears, reverse, neutral and park.
Was also able to lean out the motor a little bit.
Unfortunately I had to shut it down due to what I think is a collapsed radiator hose.
Other then that everything went well
now all I need is a front 2 piece driveshaft

No I only have a Cell phone that cant take Pic's Cheesy Plus I was not there for that short blast, I was welding on Seans KOH buggy.

We will get some Pics when Its done, still needs a front drive shaft. Miguel might drop it off at my house this weekend and a two peice drive shaft will be built hopfully buy the next weekend. I know next week will be buisy ( work wise ) so I will see what I can do to it.

A few updates, turn out I had a bad alternator, swapped it out for a 130A spare I had.  Only downside to it is that it only really kicks in charging wise around 900 rpm's so you don't see the full 13-14 volts when idling around 700 rpm's.  At least it didn't cost me anything.

The collapsed hose issue turn out its probably a bad thermostat.  When I removed the hose I thought was bad it had barely any coolant in it.  Now that I think about it could it be a huge air pocket?

Upper, I'm just going to put another thermostat in there and run it without the cap this time

I would put the thermostat in a pan of water and bring it to a boil. If the thermostat is good it should open before the water boils.

Could have been air.

Good idea I'll put both of the ones I have in there.
Update:
Turn out the thermostat is just fine.  Probably just an air pocket.  Will put it back together and run it without a cap see if that works
